Linda Bélanger MClSc, BScPT, FCAMPT, CG*IMS, IOC Sports Physiotherapy Diploma, Clinical Pilates
Linda has been practicing in Alberta since 2011, after living and working in Quebec, the Canadian arctic, the Yukon and British Columbia. She is a trained manual therapist, holding an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopaedic Division and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). She is also certified in Chan Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and is a clinical Pilates instructor. In addition, she has taken courses specific to treating the neck and the shoulder complex, as well as preventing running injuries.
Linda holds a Sports Physiotherapy Diploma from the Internation Olympic Committee as well as a Master in Clinical Science (Advanced Health Care Practice and Manipulative Therapy) from the University of Western Ontario, both completed in 2019. She initially graduated from McGill with her physiotherapy degree in 2004.
Linda has a wide breadth of experience, having worked across the country and having traveled abroad with sports teams. Her clinical interests are focused on musculoskeletal issues, particularly shoulder, low back, knees and pelvis conditions, as well as sports-related injuries, using a personalized approach tailored to each patient’s needs.
Outside of her clinical work, Linda is passionate about outdoor activities and can often be found biking, skiing, scrambling, or running in the mountains.
